Pattern dal Mondo is an intercultural program that connects the decorative heritage of the Museo Archeologico di San Lorenzo in Cremona with the rich tradition of Indonesian Batik, recognised by UNESCO. Through the parallel exhibition of floral and geometric motifs—such as the quadrilobate designs in Roman mosaics and the Javanese kawung—the event reveals how visual languages can bridge distant cultures across time.

The initiative features a curatorial presentation, guided museum tours in collaboration with FAI Giovani Cremona, and a hands-on eco-lab where participants create their own Batik bags. Designed to engage both local communities and international audiences, this event exemplifies Jengkal’s commitment to cultural dialogue, heritage interpretation, and creative education.
